U.S. Marines and sailors deployed in support of Operation Continuing Promise 2010 and embarked aboard the large deck, amphibious ship USS Iwo Jima, prepare to conduct aerial damage assessments via medium-lift, dual rotor CH-46E Sea Knight helicopters with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 774, attached to the CP10 Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force, in the area of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, Nov. 6, to gather an understanding of the damage caused by hurricane Tomas. Service members and civilians are deployed in support of CP10 providing medical, dental, veterinary, engineering assistance and subject-matter exchanges to the Caribbean, Central and South America.
