A class of 15 students on May 4, 2017, are currently participating in the nation’s first Unmanned Maritime Systems program at The University of Southern Mississippi, where the students will participate in a three-month training cycle, during which they will study nautical science, 3-D position, ocean policy, autonomous systems and much more.
