YOKOSUKA, Japan (May 11, 2017) Mass Communication Specialist Seaman Patrick Semales, from Great Falls, Va., attached to the U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), handles line during a sea and anchor evolution as the Los Angeles-class attack submarine USS Santa Fe (SSN 763) arrives at Fleet Activities Yokosuka. Blue Ridge is in an extensive maintenance period in order to modernize the ship to continue to serve as a robust communications platform in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
