Air Force Maj. Gen. Marc Sasseville, Deputy Director of the Air National Guard, dons a bomb suit during a visit to the 140th Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) Flight, Colorado Air National Guard, May 7, 2017, on Buckley Air Force Base, Aurora, Colo. The bomb suit provides more than 80 pounds of force protection to trained EOD technicians during bomb detection, identification, detonation and/or disposal missions . As Deputy Director, Sasseville assists the ANG Director in formulating, developing and coordinating policies, plans, and programs for more than 105,000 Air National Guard members and civilians throughout all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands.
