Maxwell AFB, Ala. - The Daedalus Statue honoring American aviators who flew in combat during World War I has been installed between the Maxwell Club and Brett Hall on West Drive. The statue by Royal Academy sculptor James Butler, Black Isle Foundry, Nairn, Scotland, was commissioned by the Croix Rouge Memorial Foundation through the generosity of Montgomery author and businessman Nimrod Frazer.
