Taylor Lang, a Clay, Alabama native assigned to a Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 49 detachment aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104), speaks to members of the media as part of the International Maritime Defense Exhibition 2017 (IMDEX-17). IMDEX-17 is hosted by the Republic of Singapore and is one of the largest maritime exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region, featuring a trade show and a series of multilateral exercises and exchanges.
