Sgt. Alex Cabreal, wrecker operator, Motor Transport Company B, Combat Logistics Battalion 3, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward), checks the connections between his wrecker and a fuel truck before towing the truck across the Helmand River during Operation Steel Dawn II in Helmand province, Afghanistan, Nov. 1. During the operation, the wrecker crew’s mission was to keep the combat logistics patrol rolling by fixing or towing immobilized vehicles, whether due to rough terrain or mechanical issues. This is Cabreal’s second deployment as a wrecker operator.
