Dadhiram Siwakoti, and Anand Sahani, both Supreme Global Food Service specialists, stand with Lance Cpl. Andrea Hillebrand, 1st Marine Logistics Group food specialist, in front of Siwakoti’s Styrofoam sculpture of the Tun Tavern in Dining Facility 5 aboard Camp Leatherneck, Nov 10. Siwakoti, a 32-year-old native of Jhapa, Nepal, volunteered to work on his free time, putting in 18 hour days for more than 2 weeks to complete the symbolic Philadelphia birthplace of our Corps, so it would be ready for the 235th Marine Corps birthday dinner. Sahani, 24, from Kolkata, India, spent more than 20 hours of his free time baking the massive cake used for the Regional Command Southwest cake-cutting ceremony.
“We at Supreme wanted to show our appreciation for the Marines,” said a proud Siwakoti. “It is important that they know we are all a team, and we are proud to show it anyway we can!”
