U.S. Marine, Philippine Army, and Ormoc City leaders present signed turn-over documents to an audience during a dedication ceremony in support of Balikatan 2017 in Ormoc City, Leyte, May 18, 2017. The ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of engineering projects at Don Carlos Elementary School. Balikatan is an annual U.S.-Philippine bilateral military exercise focused on a variety of missions, including humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, counterterrorism, and other combined military operations.
