U.S. Soldiers of the 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division emergency deployment readiness exercise (EDRE) go through the MILES warehouse to have their vehicles installed with MILES gear and tested for proper operation at the Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, May 18, 2017. The EDRE will test the ability of the 2-12th to deploy overseas quickly, while also testing the ability of U.S. Army Europe to receive, transport, feed, house and train units as they arrive in theater, and to do so on short notice.
