Marines of Combat Logistics Battalion 5, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward), enjoyed their first fresh, cold beer in 7 months as they arrived at Camp Pendleton, Calif., Oct. 23. For seven months deployed to Afghanistan, these Marines weren’t allowed to drink alcoholic beverages because they were in combat zones. Now re-deployed and off duty, Marines conquer their thirst with a beer.
