1st Lt. Walt Austin, Griffin, Ga., intelligence battle captain, Multinational Battle Group East, sang an original piece called “Fallen Angels” during the Veterans Day talent show at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. Austin wrote the song as a tribute to the soldiers who lost their lives when “Easy 40”, a UH-60A Black Hawk, was shot down just outside of Baghdad. Austin sang the song for the first time in front of an audience that included some who had known the soldiers on Easy 40.
