F-16 Fighting Falcons assigned to the Ohio Air National Guard’s 180th Fighter Wing, sit on the flightline at Kecskemet Air Base in Hungary, May 25, 2017. Eight F-16C Fighting Falcons from the 180th Fighter Wing, Ohio Air National Guard, departed during the early morning hours of May 20,in route to Kecskemet Air Base, Hungary. More than 150 Airmen from the 180FW will participate in exercise Load Diffuser 17 at the Hungarian Air Base from May 22 to June 9, 2017. Load Diffuser is a Hungarian Air Force-led, multinational flying exercise between NATO allies and partner nations. Multinational training engagements such as these strengthen our relationships, help us maintain joint readiness and interoperability, and reassure our European allies and partners. The U.S. and Hungary, as NATO allies, share a commitment to promote peace and stability, and seek opportunities to continue developing their relationship.
