While touring forward operating bases with the SMA Hope and Freedom Tour 2006 SWA sponsored by the United Service Organizations, Sergeant Major of the Army Kenneth O. Preston visit with Sutter Creek, Calif., native Command Sgt. Major Scott Spiva, the senior noncommissioned officer of 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division. Preston stressed how grateful America is for the service of the Soldiers in Iraq.
