A fast cruise consists of equipment tests, simulations, and scenarios which refresh and train Sailors for underway periods. Wasp is currently undergoing a planned incremental availability maintenance period at BAE Systems Naval Shipyard while making preparations for its upcoming homeport shift to Sasebo, Japan.
