Students taking part in a Crash Damage or Disabled Aircraft Recovery (CDDAR) training course at Volk Field Air National Guard base on May 23, work together to pick up a wing of an aircraft that was found at a simulated crash site. The students are required to properly catalogue all the debris and individually create crash recovery plans as part of their training. As well as mitigating any further environmental impact from the incident.
