The Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Bunker Hill passes by the USS Midway museum and downtown San Diego while transiting San Diego Harbor. Bunker Hill departed its home port of San Diego to participate in a Composite Training Unit Exercise with Carrier Strike Group 1. Following COMPTUEX, Carrier Strike Group 1 will deploy to the Western Pacific and Persian Gulf areas of responsibility as part of the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group.
