    170601-N-NJ416-0006 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 1, 2017) Aviation Electrician’s Mate 3rd Class Melissa Marcano, a native of Newington, Connecticut, assigned to the “Wildcards” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 23, conducts maintenance on the tail-rotor blades of an MH-60 Seahawk in the hangar bay of the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6). ). America is currently underway conducting Certification Exercise (CERTEX) as part of the third and final phase of qualifications for their upcoming deployment.
