The first multinational mass casualty exercise for Camp Marmal takes place Dec. 1, involving the nations represented here. Army Pfc. Colton Gray, air traffic controller from Port Charlotte, Fla., with Headquarters, Headquarters Company, 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, receives assistance from a German medic during the exercise. Fake blood and make-up is used to make the injuries more realistic to the emergency responders. One of the goals of the Mas Cal exercise is to validate the standard operating procedure currently in place, improve upon it, and make it more applicable to a multinational environment.
