DAHLGREN, Va. (May 23, 2017) - Capt. Godfrey "Gus" Weekes, Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) commanding officer, presents the Dahlgren history book, "The Sound of Freedom," and a plaque to Rear Adm. Patrick Piercey, Naval Surface Force Atlantic commander, in appreciation of his keynote speech at the NSWCDD sponsored Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month Observance. "We are united by our love of freedom and love of the values that we have as Americans despite what source you came in to become an American," said Piercey.
