170605-N-NJ416-0014 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 5, 2017) Sailors assigned to the security division aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) participate in an anti-terrorism force protection drill. America is currently underway conducting Certification Exercise (CERTEX) as part of the third and final phase of qualifications for their upcoming deployment. The America Amphibious Ready Group is comprised of more than 1,800 Sailors and 2,600 Marines assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22), and America.
