(June 2, 2017) Aviation Structural Mechanic 1st Class Sara Hauerstein, originally from Waldhausen, Germany, receives her promotion certificate from FRCSE Detachment Jacksonville Officer in Charge Cmdr. Scott Carter. Hauerstein came to the U.S. in 2007, joined the Navy and obtained her citizenship shortly thereafter. “I wanted to make this my country,” she said.
