Soldiers from Troop D, 1st Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment worked alongside Iraqi troops from the 2nd Brigade, 9th Iraqi Army Division Dec. 28 at Taji Market near Camp Taji, Iraq as they searched vehicles, performed reconaissance and other cordon and search operations. The joint operation served as an effort to reinforce security measures in the market which has been called a "crossroads for insurgent activity."
