Vice Adm. Harry B. Harris Jr., commander of the U.S. 6th Fleet, presents Gen. Josip Lucic, chief of defense, Croatia, with a 6th Fleet gift box during a reception hosted by Harris aboard USS Mount Whitney. Mount Whitney visited Split as part of a four-day port to strengthen partnership and friendship between Croatia and United States. Mount Whitney, an amphibious command ship, is the U.S. 6th Fleet flagship and operates with a hybrid crew of U.S. sailors and Military Sealift Command civil service mariners.
