Smooth Transition: U.S. Marines with MWSS 372 conduct a live-fire weapons transition range

U.S. Marine Corps 1st Lt. Brain Davis, a military police officer with Marine Wing Support Squadron 372, Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Central Command, fires an M4 carbine during a weapons transition range in the Middle East, May 29, 2017. This sustainment range offered an opportunity for the Marines to practice tactical transitions from an M4 carbine to an M9 pistol, ensuring SPMAGTF Marines are prepared to react and respond to a variety of scenarios that may play out across the USCENTCOM area of operations. SPMAGTF-CR-CC is a well-trained crisis response unit that has the ability to project combat power over vast distances using organic aviation, logistical, and ground combat assets.
