(June 8, 2017) Information Systems Technician 1st Class Brandon Greene rings a bell for each crew member killed during the attack on the USS Liberty (AGTR 5) as part of an observance ceremony for the 50th anniversary of the event. Liberty, a technical research ship, came under fire from Israeli aircraft and torpedo boats on June 8, 1967 while conducting operations in international waters.
