The Maysan Governor, Muhammed Al Shia’a Al Sudani cuts the ribbon to the newly opened Maysan Center for Training and Development, a $500,000, U.S. -sponsored project that will be managed by the Maysan Provincial Reconstruction Team. The center, which opened Nov. 28, will offer Maysanis classes in computer skills, English, agriculture, veterinary skills, carpentry, and journalism.
