New York Army National Guard UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters from the 42nd Combat Aviation Brigade transports two M119A2 Howitzers to a landing zone during an air assault artillery raid at Fort Drum on June 9, 2017. The raid, which was conducted in conjunction with Soldiers from Alpha Troop, 1st Battalion, 258th Field Artillery Regiment, 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, involved transporting the 4 howitzers to a landing zone then utilizing them to engage a simulated enemy target.
