PACIFIC OCEAN – Marines with combat cargo, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Sailors assigned to the deck department aboard USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) conduct a foreign-object-and-debris walk on the flight deck looking for trash or any material that could be dangerous during flight operations, June 5, 2017. The 15th MEU and America Amphibious Ready group are currently conducting its Certification Exercise, the last in a series of training exercises, which certifies the MEU-ARG team capable for deployment in support of fleet and combatant commanders across the full range of military operations.
