Sailors assigned to Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center unload ordnance from an F/A-18E after a daytime training mission with Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 8. Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center is the custodian of 44 aircraft, including F/A-18 Alpha and Charlie Hornet variants, F/A-18F Super Hornets, F-16 Alfa and Bravo Viper variants, H-60S Sea Hawk helicopters and E2-C Hawkeye aircraft. CVW-8 is nearing the completion of air wing training before their deployment aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71).
