A paratrooper with 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, jumps from a UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter as his buddy awaits his turn during training Dec. 2, 2010, at Fort Bragg, N.C. At 1,500 feet, the paratroopers are jumping almost twice as high as they would from an airplane because the chute takes longer to open when jumping from a helicopter.
