The youngest soldier at Contingency Location Garoua, Pvt. Michael Sklowdowski, and the oldest soldier, Capt. Jeremy Latham, the Task Force Toccoa executive officer, cut a cake during the U.S. Army’s 242nd birthday at Contingency Location Garoua, Cameroon, June 14. The soldiers of 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, part of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, are serving in a support role for the Cameroon military’s fight against the violent extremist organization Boko Haram.
