U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (June 14, 2017) An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, assigned to the Chargers of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 26, prepares to lift off the flight deck for stores as the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) prepares to pull alongside the Dry Cargo and Ammunition Ship USNS Washington Chambers (T-AKE 11). The ship and its ready group are deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
