170614-N-LC424-0745 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 14, 2017) Lance Cpl. Adrian Preciado, a native of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (right), directs Cpl. Levi Misenheimer (left), a native of Burbank, California, both assigned to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), on where to park a humvee in the ship’s well deck. Pearl Harbor is currently underway, conducting a Certification Exercise (CERTEX) as part of the third and final phase of qualifications for their upcoming deployment. The America Amphibious Ready Group is comprised of more than 1,800 Sailors and 2,600 Marines assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22), and Pearl Harbor.
