An Iraqi Army soldier from the 5th Special Troops Company, 9th Iraqi Army Division, attempts to kick in the door to a compound during a joint cordon and search mission conducted Jan. 11. The mission conducted in the early morning hours in Rashidiyah, Iraq, teamed up Iraqi troops with Macedonian soldiers and troops from 1st Battalion, 37th Field Artillery Regiment. During the course of the mission, Iraqi Army troops detained a suspected insurgent who was lying in a field waiting for coalition forces to pass by.
