Colby Wyatt, the outgoing commander of the U.S. Army’s 1st Battalion, 179th Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, accepts the traditional bouquet of red roses gifted to an outgoing commander’s significant other in appreciation from the unit at the Yavoriv Combat Training Center on the International Peacekeeping and Security Center, near Yavoriv, Ukraine, on June 17.
Mrs. Wyatt was able to join her husband in Ukraine with their two children for this event. The 45th IBCT is deployed to Ukraine as part of the Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine, an international coalition dedicated to improving the CTC's training capacity and building professionalism within the Ukrainian army.
