Jonathan Hernandez, the exercise support staff noncommissioned officer in charge with U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South, ensures all plaques are ready to be presented during the closing ceremony of Phase II of Exercise Tradewinds 2017 in Chaguaramas, Trinidad and Tobago, June 17, 2017. This annual exercise, sponsored by U.S. Southern Command, is conducted to increase the interoperability of the 20 nations involved and their ability to counter transnational organized crime and terrorism, and conduct humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
