Petty Officer 3rd Class Kevin Hobdy, engineman, mans a fire bottle and reports the status of a simulated engineering casualty in auxiliary machinery room one to Seaman Charles Peyser, engineman fireman, as part of engineering operational certification aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Comstock. Comstock, part of the Boxer Amphibious Readiness Group, Assault Craft Unit 1, Combat Logistics Battalion 13, and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, are underway off the coast of southern California participating in certification exercise in preparation for a 2011 deployment.
