Members from the 233d Space Group practice their Self-Aid/Buddy-Care procedures under simulated wartime conditions while on their field training exercise. Dummies and actual members were used to simulate casualties while other members performed life-saving maneuvers in field conditions. The 233d Space Group is enhancing their ability to survive and operate in austere field conditions during their annual field training exercise at Fort Carson Army Installation, Colorado Springs. They are the USAF’s only mobile unit providing survivable and endurable missile warning and nuclear detection to the National Command Authority. (Air National Guard photo by: Senior Master Sgt.
