Airman Miguel Pizanojaime, aviation boatswain's mate (handling), rushes into the landing area to direct the pilot of an F/A-18C Hornet assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron 113 after the aircraft made an arrested landing aboard the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson. Carl Vinson and Carrier Air Wing 17 are on a three-week composite training unit exercise to be followed by a deployment to the western Pacific Ocean.
