Command Sgt. Maj. John Fourhman (center), Third Army command sergeant major, and Sgt. Maj. Roberto Lopez (left), retention sergeant major with Third Army, hold an open forum discussion with Command Sgt. Maj. Ronald Cowan, 3rd Battalion, 5th Air Defense Artillery Regiment battalion command sergeant major, and the senior non-commissioned officers of Batteries B and C, 3-5 ADA in Southwest Asia, Dec. 20. During the discussion Fourhman spoke to them about the importance of their responsibilities at maintaining soldiers readiness, future retention goals and offered them a chance to bring up any issues they might have. Fourhman visited Third Army soldiers throughout Southwest Asia to see first-hand how they continue to redefine readiness by staying Ready to Fight Tonight to face tomorrow’s battles.
