Staff Sgt. Jeffrey Garringer, the medical noncommissioned officer for the 11th Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Team assists Tech. Sgt. Lawrence Misiaszek, a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear Specialists with the 11th WMD CST with his Mission Oriented Protective Posture at the South Portland High School athletic stadium where the CST unit conducted a full scale exercise June 29, 2017. The JHAT team was conducting pre-sweeps of the area to see if any Chemical, Biological, Radiological or Nuclear hazards existed on site. CST is an active duty National Guard joint force unit consisting of members of the Air National Guard and Army National Guard who often work alongside police and fire departments at local events like concerts and graduations.
