Troy Yocum, Hiking for Heroes founder and his wife Mareike, arrive at Fort Bliss’ Freedom Crossing shopping center with Maj. Gen. Dana J.H. Pittard, Fort Bliss Commanding General, Mayor John Cook, City of El Paso, and mayor’s grandson Jaydon Dec. 23, 2010. Yocum’s cross country trek began April 17 to raise $5 million for military families in need.
