Nick Vande Griend, outgoing commanding officer of Naval Magazine Indian Island (NAVMAG) and his family, exit through the “sideboys” to conclude his naval service during a NAVMAG change of command ceremony where Cmdr. Rocky Pulley relieved Vande Griend as NAVMAG commanding officer. Following the ceremony, Vande Griend retired after 30 years of service.
