FORT IRWIN, Calif. – The National Training Center celebrated its 36th birthday with a cake prepared by Spc. April Pelayo, Operations Group, NTC and Fort Irwin in Kuhnjab, NTC, July 1, 2017. Since 1981, NTC has been used as the premiere training center, and has continued the legacy to ensure the U.S. Army remains prepared to face any adversary. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
