Company G, 8th Regiment, 28th Infantry Division, Pennsylvania National Guard mobilized from this location for WW1 (right). The current unit 1st Battalion 108th Field Artillery Regiment, 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 28th Infantry Division is still stationed in Carlisle in a newer armory.
