KING GEORGE, Va. (June 28, 2017) - A science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) Summer Academy junior mentor (high school student), middle, gives middle school STEM campers some pointers as they operate the team Kilroy 339 robot designed, programmed and built by local high school students. Nine junior mentors joined 17 NSWCDD scientists and engineers and 17 middle school teachers at the week-long camp to encourage middle school students to develop their teamwork and problem-solving skills in math and science.
