WATERS OFF GUAM (June 30, 2017) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Kidd (DDG 100) pulls away from the Henry J. Kaiser-class fleet replenishment oiler USNS Yukon (T-AO 202) following a replenishment-at-sea while the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Shoup (DDG 86) transits in the distance. Kidd and Shoup are currently deployed in the 7th fleet area of operations. The U.S. Navy has patrolled the Indo-Asia-Pacific routinely for more than 70 years promoting regional peace and security.
