An electronic sign welcomes drivers to McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base in East Tennessee. The base's and airport's McGhee Tyson name honor Navy Lt. j.g. Charles McGhee Tyson who was assigned in the U.S. Naval Reserve Flying Corps during World War I.
