A U.S. Air Force F-16D Fighting Falcon, assigned to the 421st Fighter Squadron from Hill Air Force Base, Utah, conducts low surface attack tactics and low altitude navigation training over the Utah Test and Training Range on May 17, 2017. The F-16 is a compact, multi-role fighter aircraft. It is highly maneuverable and has proven itself in air-to-air combat and air-to-surface attack. It provides a relatively low-cost, high-performance weapon system for the United States and allied nations. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Andrew Lee)
